Good Fortune was a series of artistic workshops and happenings with the goal of integrating Polish immigrants with the culture of New York City through the cultures and customs of different ethnic groups living in the city. The series consisted of three different projects: “Good fortune”, “A Parcel from America,” and “Laundromat project: You say it – You get it” and it’s lead by Joanna Sztencel, a Polish artist living and creating in Greenpoint.
